The Power to Ascend and Multiply: Sam Oye Opens Advance 2026
Advance 2026 opened with a clear, high-stakes message from Reverend Sam Oye. This was not just a church service. It was a gathering for hard work. Addressing a global audience from the US, UK, and across Africa, Sam Oye laid out the blueprint for ascending and multiplying in a world that is increasingly volatile.
The Arise Mandate
The conference began with a charge from Isaiah 60. Reverend Sam emphasized that the multitudes and the Gentiles are waiting on one thing: for the leader to move first.
"You carry light, but the reason why the multitudes are yet to come is because the first word is yet to be confirmed: Arise." he said, quoting from his message at 06:43.
He defined arising as ascending. Moving above the forces trying to keep you down. The promise is that when you ascend, the abundance of the sea and the forces of the nations will be converted to you.
Riding the Waves of Challenges
One of the most resonant parts of the message was the distinction between trickles and waves. Reverend Sam noted that in modern leadership, challenges no longer take turns. They come in waves that overlap.
Waves of Pressure — Dealing with one crisis while another is already starting.
Internal Opposition — Facing jealousy and envy from within your own camp.
The Interpretation — The problem is not the wave. It is how you see it.
He used the analogy of boiling water. When put in hot water, a carrot becomes soft and weak, an egg becomes hard and brittle, but a coffee bean changes the water itself.
"The same wave that drowns some men, that same wave is the one that another man rides on." he said at 40:54.
Avoiding the Growth Burial
A major warning was issued to successful leaders. Do not let your growth become your burial place. Using Acts 6, Reverend Sam explained how even the Apostles had to ascend above administrative complaints, the Greek versus Hebrew widows situation, to protect their primary driver: prayer and the word.
Protect the Root — Never let the fruit, the members, the building, the success, replace the root, prayer and the word.
